DR. JC CAMPBELL
Rev. Dr. JC Campbell is an exciting, gifted, and powerful man of God. Affectionately called the “Oxford Orator”; His kind heart and passion for preaching make him a sought-after speaker and lecturer across the country. He proudly serves as the Senior Pastor of Greater Hope Christian Church in Evansville, IN. JC has had an extensive background in public and higher education working in Diversity, Marketing, and Alumni Engagement. He currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion at Oakland City University. He has also held positions at the University of Louisville, Kentucky State University, The University of Evansville, and the University of Southern Indiana. JC’s passion and enthusiasm for philanthropy has been the source of numerous awards and recognitions, notably the Louisville Metro Council Merit Recognition, the MLK Service award from the Governor of the state of Kentucky, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals 2018 Young Philanthropist of the Year Award.
JC’s love for service, the community, and his faith are always challenging him to give back as much as possible. He has served as a founding leadership board member for the National Academy of Preachers, Oxford Board member for North American Alumni, board member for the Campbellsville University Church Council, Kiwanis Club officer, Commissioner for the Social Status of African American Males in Evansville, Diversity Council member for the Evansville Philharmonic, Board President for the Al Baity Foundation, Board member for the University of Louisville Black Alumni Association, and is a PROUD member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. JC is also the author of many scholarly and ecumenical publications. His 1st book, PUSH: Delivering your Destiny, was released in May of 2021.
A native of Louisville, KY, JC graduated with a Religion degree from Georgetown College and graduated with honors as a Regents Park Scholar at Oxford University in England. He received his Master’s in Higher Education from the University of Louisville. He is also working on completing his PhD from the University of Louisville in Pan African Studies. Above all, JC’s greatest joy is found in his family; his beautiful wife, Nesha Campbell, their daughters; Victoria, Valerie, and Vanessa., and their amazing dogs, Victor and Vincent.
