For most of you, if you were tuning in to the Wednesday Night Live on August 4th, 2021, you were trying to figure out, "What is up with Pastor???" I actually had some people ready to go to war because they thought something or someone had harmed me. I started the study off not like my normal self. I had low energy, I was very monotoned, and it just didn't seem like I wanted to be there. Well, I am happy to tell you all that it was only a joke, a prank, and a truth of sorts.
See, people didn't expect me to behave that way. They couldn't believe that I was acting out of character. After all, everyone knows I am a great ball of nonstop energy so to be anything other than, is not normal. My brothers and sisters, the same way you showed concern for me, is how God feels about you! You were not created to be so mean. You were not meant to be eternally depressed. You were not created to go without. This is abnormal to how God created you. So then the question becomes, WHAT HAPPENED?
Family, sometimes life gets the bets of us. There are times were relationships fail, and situations just suck. If we are honest, life can suck all of the joy and fire out of us until we have to throw up our hands and say, "Lord, I quit!" Nevertheless, on those days is when you need to remember the word of Psalm 118:24; "This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." Through ups and downs, sunshine and rain, sickness and pain; This is the Day.
I know that life will get difficult and at times seem unbearable but if God is with you, there is nothing that can stop you....not even a day!
